our story
Forest Water was born in Nashville, inspired by the wild abundance of the Appalachian Mountains —one of the most biodiverse regions in the world.
What began as an exploration of wild-harvested botanicals quickly evolved into something unexpected: a sparkling, complex sipper that bridges the gap between craft beverage and mindful drinking.
We believe there's abundance all around us: ingredients to taste, stories to tell, people to meet. And looking for sustainable, often overlooked ingredients in the wild is just one way we embrace the search for more. Every can of Forest Water is a tribute to the unsung heroes of the forest, buzzing with bold, layered flavor and a spirit of discovery.
From the cool clarity of mountain streams to the warmth of a night under the stars, Forest Water invites you to drink it all in.

Wild-Crafted botanicals are plants harvested from their natural environment rather than being cultivated on farms. This practice is also known as foraging. These ingredients are free from human intervention, pesticides and fertilizers.
The following wild-crafted ingredients are used in Forest Water: Raw Wildflower Honey, White Pine Bark, Douglas Fir Tips, Elderberry, Rose, Birch Bark and Bee Pollen
Forest Water is made by the fine folks at Walker Brothers kombucha. Our recipe upcycles our highly acidic fermented tea (or kombucha vinegar, which would otherwise go to waste) to extract the flavor of herbs, flowers, roots, and barks. We blend these concentrated vinegars with filtered water and a touch of locally sourced wildflower honey to balance the bitterness prior to carbonation.
Both of our flavors are complex and distinct
Alpine tastes like drinking an evergreen forest: deep, earthy flavors of pine, resin, bark, and bitter roots pair with just enough honey to balance a tannin-forward profile
Meadow tastes like sipping a bouquet of wildflowers: delicate floral flavors are complemented by wildflower honey and a hint of bitterness from birch bark and grapefruit peel
Our honey is sourced in our own backyard, from our friends at Greenwood Honey Co. in Nashville, TN.
